About Independent Printing
The Beginning
In 1941, Independent Printing's journey began with the humble task of printing the local newspaper. By 1951, it had found its permanent home at its current location, transitioning from newspaper printing to a successful letterpress shop.
Family Roots: Continuity and Growth
In 1985, Garry Tiffany took a leap of faith, purchasing Independent Printing with just 2,000 sq. ft. of office and production space, antiquated equipment, and a small team of six employees. Despite the challenges, Garry's vision and dedication propelled the business forward, ultimately growing it to over 20,000 sq. feet of production space.
A New Chapter Begins
Fast forward to 1996, when Tiffany and Henry Johnson, now married, joined Independent Printing. Having grown up with the company since their teenage years, they've become an integral part of its fabric. Today, they lead the business as a team: Henry handles and operates all things production, while Tiffany manages the business end.
In 2014, they assumed full control of all day-to-day operations, allowing Garry to step back and embrace retirement. Then, in January 2022, they officially became the proud owners of the company, continuing its legacy of high-quality work and excellent customer service. Alongside them is their loyal golden retriever, Marley, who brings joy to the workplace every day.
